So lets start here.
Our baby girl AnaBella Nina was born on the 21st April 2017 and died 28 days later on the 19th May.
Those 28 days were long, there was ups, there was downs, there was hope but in the end this all turned to sorrow, heartache and pain.
For these past two years I have had to stay strong for my family, whilst at the same time breaking down inside. That has been my grief walk.
On the 21st April 2020 I’m going on a different walk: the Camino de Santiago a 500 mile walk starting in St Pied de Port in France and ending in Santiago de Compostela, Spain. I will be doing this in 28 days: the length of my daughters life.
I am doing this to raise funds for various charities that helped us during AnaBella’s life and to also raise awareness of what we went through. This is also for me, a time to reflect a time to realign and truth be told sort my head out.
I am planning on using this blog to be brutality honest about what I went through and what I am still going through.
Some days will be light, some days heavy because that just like grief.
Best of look as you work your way round the coast path .
